Touch Screen Controller Chip
The TSHARC "C2" touch screen controller IC is a new standard in capacitive touch screen controller technology which supports Serial and USB communication in conjunction with any manufacturers surface capacitive touch screen with or without a back shield.
The C2 controller is available as a functional "bridge building" configuration which enables you to migrate from other industry controllers to Hampshire's universal, never obsolete standard. For more information about other communication options, please contact Hampshire Company.
The TSHARC C2 IC is an inexpensive high performance touch screen controller which, in holding true to our design fundamentals, utilizes standard, "off-the-shelf" micro-controller technology in conjunction with Hampshire's proprietary decoding techniques and device driver software. This virtually eliminates the possibility of obsolescence while maintaining the high performance and utility standards that you expect from Hampshire Company.
Hampshire's own TSHARC device drivers are included with the chip or board solution. Bill of materials, schematic drawings and technical support are available for high volume chip applications. Private labeled or customized hardware and software products are also available.
