Hampshire’s TSHARC™-xx Octopus™, touch screen controller board the standard in universal touch screen controller technology, which concurrently supports RS-232, PS/2 and USB communications as well as all manufacturers 4, 5, and 8 wire analog resistive touch screen overlays.
The "Octopus™" touch screen controller utilizes Hampshire proprietary decoding techniques which quickly and accurately decode touch points in touch-only, drawing and writing applications.
This controller board is the only board available which may be user configured for RS-232, PS/2 or USB communication, regulated or un-regulated power as well as any manufacturers 4, 5, or 8-wire analog resistive touch screen.
All Hampshire drivers are developed and supported in house to insure that you have a properly matched set of touch screen hardware and software for your application. Custom and private labeled drivers are also available.
Hampshire has implemented a universal board design in each of our user configurable board products to help you design in flexibility. The Octopus, Octopus USB and the "V" board are mechanically interchangeable.
