Part Number Descriptions:
Native Mode:
Specifies the native protocol. H = Hampshire (4 or 5 byte protocol), E - Elo™ (10 byte protocol), M - Microtouch™ (5 Byte protocol)
ComType:
Specifies the requested communication set-up or "S" for *standard configuration for multipurpose boards or chips. Required for "M" and "D" boards.
Resolution Type:
Specifies the resolution of the board or specifies the chip type and resolution. x0 = Ten Bit, x2 = 12 bit, x8 = 8 bit.
Configuration:
Specifies if the board has a special setup configuration or if board has a specific firmware set. Place a "1" in this field if you are ordering TSHARC chips, custom header board configurations or specific firmware revision.
Power:
Specifies the factory set power options for boards
Screen Type:
Specifies the touch screen type configuration. "0" = default analog resistive multi-function board setting. Must specify for "D" amd "M" boards.
Package:
Specifies the chip package size. Legacy identification for "M" boards.
Options:
Specifies the available chip configuration options. This field it not used for boards. "0" for board or standard chip configurations.
Board Type:
Specifies the board type family. Legacy support for "o" Octopus or "s" chips.
Config. Code:
Specifies configuration code for chips or boards.
Firmware Descriptions:

Chip type, Package and Comtype descriptions are the same as above).

Firmware:
Specifies the two digit firmware revision number. The firmware revision must be included on all production orders for controller "Chip" solutions. The latest firmware will be shipped with all prototype orders unless otherwise specified. Once you have evaluated and approved a specific chip revision Hampshire will register your approved revision for QA and revision control purposes.

Identifies the week and year the product was produced
Chip Identification:

Located on the top of the TSHARC micro-controller. This identification may be in the form of a laser mark or Kapton label. SSOP chips have an abbreviated identification which includes the chip revision and date code. Note: On some label options "HAMPSHIRE" may not appear on chip.

Board Identification:

Identification marks are located on the bottom of each controller board. This identification includes: model, version, part number (optional "-" number and date code. Other identification may be present on the board, these marks are for internal uses only.

* Standard means the standard Hampshire configuration for that specific board or chip. See the back of this document for "Standard" configurations.
