Hardware Engineer

In this role, you will have the opportunity to include the design/development of electronic circuits as extensions to current product line, redesigning existing circuits to enhance functionality and minimize product cost as well as new product design. • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years electrical/electronic hardware design experience.
• Engage in all phases of new product introduction: concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing integration and service support.
• Circuit design experience related to Microchip PIC 8 bit microcontrollers. Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
• Experience with programming in Assembly C, and C++ is essential along with general analog and digital circuit design experience
• The ability to organize, plan and execute individual engineering tasks in the product development cycle and the ability to make technical decisions that affect the direction of a project are essential.
• Experience soldering fine pitch components (TSSOP, SC-70)
• Experience with circuit simulation tools (pSpice).
• Design, build and support Manufacturing test fixtures
• Familiarity with MS Windows application programming (for testing purposes)

Inside Sales Representative

At Hampshire Company, you will utilize your listening and communication skills to understand customer needs and effectively present Hampshire solutions in various touch screen controller applications. In this role, you will manage all aspects of the sales cycle for touch screen controller products and generate revenue while building long-term customer relationships. You should also enjoy prospecting and building a strong sales pipeline of qualified opportunities, following up on inquiries, qualifying new leads and working closely with the Sales & Engineering teams to drive business from identification to close.
