Hampshire's TSHARC™ controllers are high performance, high resolution (12-bit), flexible board solutions which may be easily integrated into your application. They deliver the speed and accuracy necessary for touch and drawing input and you may specify .100 header or socket connectors to meet your connection requirements. All Hampshire drivers are included with these solutions.

TSHARC Boards imageThe TSHARC "Octopus" board is user configurable for RS-232, PS/2 or USB communication; 4, 5, 7, or 8-wire touch screens (regardless of manufacturer or construction) as well as accepts 5 - 24vDC regulated or unregulated power. The Octopus board does it all and is available as a 10-bit or 12-bit models.

If you don't need USB communication the TSHARC-12v board is a good option. This board is also jumper selectable for all touch screen types, power options and supports RS-232 or PS/2. The cost of the TSHARC-12v board is significantly less than the USB enabled Octopus.

If you are willing to forgo the user configurable options to keep your costs down, the TSHARC-12m (mini) is our lowest cost option. This board is a high performance, low profile, small package board which supports RS-232 or PS/2 communications as well as 4, 5, 7 or 8-wire touch screens. However, the options are not user selectable.
